Melt in your mouth chocolate cups with a chocolate hazelnut twist. Make these and you will never buy another chocolate bar again.

This is a twist to the classic crunch chocolate bar that I grew up loving! I absolutely loved those chocolate bars, so delicious with a slight crunch from the rice kirspies cereal put in it.

The best part of this recipe? It can be made in about 5-10 minutes, depending on how fast you can stir. The hardest part is waiting for the chocolate to re-harden before eating it!

Tip One: Use chocolate that you love! I use a mix of milk and semi-sweet chocolate to make this. But if you are not a fan of those kind of chocolates, use whatever your heart desires! Milk chocolate only? Yup. Dark chocolate? Yup. White chocolate? Double yup! It’s fun to experiment, and I promise it all tastes good!

Tip Two: Don’t have Nutella? No problem! Use any chocolate hazelnut spread you have, does not have to be Nutella. I’ve also used peanut butter instead as well, and let me tell you… YUM!

Tip Three: You don’t have to make these into cups!

You can easily make them into bars instead. Just line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper, and then after it hardens in the fridge cut it up into bars. Easy!

Melt in your mouth chocolate cups with a chocolate hazelnut twist. Make these and you will never buy another chocolate bar again.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella)

  • 3/4 cup Rice Krispie cereal

Directions

  • Line a muffin tin with muffin wrappers.
  • Using a large microwaveable safe bowl, pour your milk chocolate chips and semi-sweet chocolate chips in. Microwave at 20 second intervals, stirring between each time, until chocolate chips are melted.
  • Add Nutella into your melted chocolate, stir until combined. Add in your cereal, stir until the cereal is coated in chocolate.
  • Scoop the chocolate mixture into the the muffin cups. You can either make them thick, or thin, whichever you prefer. If you do thin, you will get more of them.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before enjoying! *Since it contains Nutella, store in your refrigerator to hold shape for up to a week.
